What is ISO 5211? The standard interface for actuator mounting
Flange type, stem size and torque class: how to match valve and actuator correctly.
ISO 5211 defines the dimensions and torque classes of the actuator mounting flange on quarter-turn valves. Codes such as F05, F07 and F10 indicate the bolt circle.
For correct matching, add a 25–50% safety margin to the valve’s breakaway torque when selecting the actuator.
